Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Praise the Lord for His Blessings!!!

Sorry that there have not been more frequent postings in the last couple of days. Kids Camp has been busy with three sessions each day. That in addition to the couple of thunder storms, power outages and internet outages has made posting a little difficult. But don't worry. We will make up for it with plenty of video and pictures when we return.

The first thanksgiving to the Lord is for our health. We are all doing really well. Kate went down for a couple of days but is back to good health after taking some of the medicine we had prescribed before we left. Luckily, she was able to finish the last two days of the camp. The Lord answered so many prayers with that healing.

The second blessing we are so thankful for is the way that our church has been able to bless the people here in Burkina Faso. Not only did we make a lot of children happy with our kids camp but we as a church were also able to help send sorghum to a village outside of the city called Zorga. Between 30 and 40 families will benefit from that food.

Possibly the most awesome blessing is for the success of the Kids Camp. Logistically it went really well. The counselors were amazing with the kids and the kids were a joy. Most importantly though, children were saved. Dozens of children expressed their desire to know Jesus and we all rejoice for that.

The Lord has blessed us in so many ways, it would take too long to even write them while sitting in this cyber cafe. We look forward to speaking with all of you about what the Lord has done in Burkina and in our own personal walks this last 9 days.

We leave early in the morning Tuesday in Burkina and arrive back in Portland late Tuesday night, Oregon time. Please pray for our safe travels and that the Lord would root up and grow the kids that gave their lives to the Lord today. Praise His holy name!

Hi I saw your comment post on Mindy Strauss' photography blog, did you knit the cocoon that has been featured in most of her blogs? They are stunning, can you tell me how much it would be? Thanks so much!
